GPS Mount - Don't Take Them Lightly

For someone out there who is a fanatic about snowmobiles & GPS devices, there is a heavy duty GPS mount made for you! In addition other types of GPS systems, it accommodates the Garmin Nuvi beautifully! RAM appears to have solved a few the most troublesome issues encountered by snowmobilers using, say a bicycle mount on their snowmobiles - & other such clever adaptations.

Usually, these sorts of makeshift GPS mount applications don't work because a few the extreme conditions common to snowmobiles are foreign to bicycles. As a result, our GPS tool functions below optimal levels. They don't often think about that possibility when they are suited up & prepared to roll. However, it is best to keep in mind that GPS mount tend to be specific to the tool for which they were designed. You'll find little, if any, crossover in this arena.

Whether you need to mount the GPS PND (personal navigation tool) on your hip, your bicycle, motorbike, snowmobile, Cessna Skyhawk or your 40 foot catamaran, there is a specific mount for the job. Getting the right GPS mount will save you hours of frustration while adding to the general enjoyment of your craft and/or vehicle - recreational & otherwise. Trust me, I have been there.

For whatever reason, they don't appear to mind spending significant sums on the latest GPS expertise (& that is a lovely thing), yet when it comes to the accessories developed to enhance our use of same, they back up, & become the "penny wise, pound daft shopper". because the accessories are customarily sold separately, doesn't mean they are at all optional. When manufacturers use this a la carte method, it keeps the general cost of the main item down & lets us personalize the package to suit our individual, personal style of use.
